Vanity Fair

If you've seen this movie before, or read the novel, than you shouldn't be disappointed with the plot. I just don't care for the up and downs that Becky Sharp must go through in life. Reese does a wonderful job and unlike the PBS version, she makes me like Becky and hope that she succeeds. She marries the man she loves, who loves her in return, and you think "oh what a sweet movie". Then the last half is completely different and you're left wondering whether you should hate or pity Becky. You feel so bad for her husband and just want things to work out. I'm a not sucker for a happy ending and if you are, you wont be disappointed. Great costumes, witty bantering between characters, but too much jumping in plot that is just enough to confuse you and detract from the overall movie.
